From the stage to management
Michele Tagliaferri (b. 1992), cellist, studied at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano with Monika Leskovar, at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Giovanni Sollima, and at the Accademia Chigiana with David Geringas.
He went on to collaborate with outstanding artists and ensembles, among them Riccardo Muti and the Cherubini Orchestra, the Mantua Chamber Orchestra, Ezio Bosso, Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli, Kerem Hasan, Dennis Russell Davies, and Vittorio Ghielmi.
When the pandemic forced a pause in performing, he turned the challenge into an opportunity, combining his artistic background with a strong managerial education through a Master’s in Arts Management and Administration at SDA Bocconi. During this time, he collaborated with institutions such as the Si-Yo Music Foundation in New York, the Stauffer Academy in Cremona, the Mantua Chamber Music Festival, the Conservatory of Cremona, and LaFil – Filarmonica di Milano.
Following years of collaboration in the management of artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Yulianna Avdeeva, Benedetto Lupo, Andrea Lucchesini, among others, in 2025, he felt the need for a different perspective and thus founded a new company whose primary focus is care and dedication to artists.
