Biography
It was Paolo Conte himself who, from the very beginning, supported this instrumental project, whose protagonists are the musicians who have been part of his orchestra for over 30 years — among the most refined in the Italian and international scene. The project, in continuous artistic evolution, is regarded by his musicians as a spiritual legacy of Conte’s music and is warmly endorsed by the Maestro himself.
Massimo Pitzianti conceived an instrumental reworking of Conte’s songs, incorporating elements from the classical repertoire, resulting in a project that stands apart from simple cover versions. As Conte himself said during one of the ensemble’s concerts: “Massimo had to bring together the Sacred and the Profane!”
The aim, therefore, is to highlight the complexity and richness of the musical structure of these masterpieces, through new interpretations in which audiences can recognize the genius of the Maestro from Asti in an entirely new light.
